Sometime around the turn of this century, guys began buzzing over a proposed showdown between the two biggest icons in comic book history

This debate has drawn a lot of interest and a website has been created for this debate.

Some comments include

#1: The batman would lose very badly against superman unless ,batman has a piece of kryptonite of planet krypton on hand to negate the powers of superman

#2: Batman would beat Superman every time! The greatest superpower is always intelligence. Batman has beaten Superman on every occasion where they’ve met as adversaries. Superman, from the Lords of Justice, took a serious beat-down from Batman

#3: Superman would totally win! Why? He would win because he can face any challenge or anyone at anytime! He has all the right powers a super hero need while Batman only has a few gadgets and can’t really “fly” at all he may have that hot car but Superman could definitely catch in one “whoosh” of his cape.

My call is that it will be the bat by a whisker. Both guys will be pretty knocked up but Lex will give the bat some kryptonite and that will be the final straw.

Ingredients:

1 Packages raspberry flavoured gelatin

1 Package blueberry flavoured gelatin

½ cup Versus Red

Glass shot glasses

Method:

Boil the 2 cups of water. As soon as it is boiling, pour the water into a large mixing bowl.

Pour both packages of flavored gelatin into the bowl of boiling water. Stir until the powder has completely dissolved.

Set the hot gelatin mixture aside for several minutes until it feels cool when you touch it.

Pour the red wine into the cooled gelatin mixture. Stir to combine.

Pour the mixture into shot glasses. Place them in the refrigerator for several hours to set.

9 parts chilled Versus white
1 part raspberry juice

Glass:Champagne flute

Preparation:Fill the glass about ¾ with wine and top up with the raspberry juice.

Garnish: Lemon twist

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup seedless white grapes
• 1 lemon, thinly sliced
• 1 lime, thinly sliced
• Fresh mint sprigs
• 750ml (3 cups) Versus white
• Ice cubes, to serve
• 125ml (1/2 cup) soda water, chilled

Method

1. Place the grapes, lemon, lime and fresh mint sprigs in a large serving jug. Add the Versus white and ice cubes, then the chilled soda water.
2. Give a quick stir to combine then serve the spritzer immediately in tall glasses to arriving guests, or better still, to the cook.

• 1 x 750ml btl Versus Red
• 225g white sugar
• 125ml brandy
• 125ml water
• 2 oranges, thinly sliced
• 1 lemon, thinly sliced
• 2 x 7cm cinnamon sticks,
• lightly crushed
• 6 whole cloves
• Pinch of grated nutmeg
• Lemon peel, to decorate

Method

1. Place the wine, sugar, brandy, water, orange, lemon, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg in a large saucepan over low heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5-10 minutes or until sugar dissolves and mixture is aromatic. Remove from heat.
2. Strain mulled wine into a large jug. Pour among serving glasses. Decorate with lemon peel and serve immediately.

Directions

Pour the Versus Red wine and grenadine into a Collins glass over ice cubes. Fill with lemon-lime soda, stir, and serve.
